Dance For Kindness 2014 – Sunday Nov. 9th

Dancing for a Deceptively Simple Cause:
Ms. Linda’s local Dance For Kindness
10:00 am at the Lafayette Reservoir stage
We are now all very familiar with the walks and runs for a cause–events organized to fight specific diseases or fund certain charities. But what is the point of a Dance for Kindness?
From the organizers….Every year, to kick off World Kindness Week, Life Vest Inside organizes “Dance for Kindness,” a WorldWide Freezmob/Flashmob during which groups from all across the globe unite under the banner of kindness and join together to perform to the same song, same dance, all happening on the same day.The purpose of Dance for Kindness is to look beyond ourselves – beyond the boundaries of our country, beyond our culture, our race, our religion and realize that we are citizens of the world and that kindness is the common thread that unites us all.
For me, the “point” of Dance for Kindness is to raise the positive vibration in ourselves and let it ripple out.
Where our resources of time and energy go, so go our thoughts and our example for the next generation.
Why not show our community that we value Kindness, not just with lip service, but with our whole dancing bodies out in public on a Sunday morning?
